Simba SC continued their winning run in the NBC Premier League after securing a 1-0 victory over Fountain Gate FC at Tanzanite Kwaraa Stadium in Babati on Thursday 29 October.
Defender Rushine De Reuck scored the only goal of the match, heading home from a Nathaniel Chilambo free kick to give Simba all three points.
Fountain Gate pushed for an equaliser in the second half, but Simba held firm to preserve their lead and secure another league victory.
The result took Simba to 27 points from nine matches, keeping them top of the NBC Premier League standings. They are five points ahead of second-placed Young Africans, who have 22 points after their 2-1 victory over Mashujaa FC on Tuesday 27 October.
