Prison Queens beat Airforce Falcons at Cobbe Barracks in Zomba to retain the Eastern Region title in the One NICO Top 12 Netball Cup.
Twelve teams entered the Eastern Region play-off of the One NICO Top 12 Netball Cup, and three of them carry the region into the national finals in Lilongwe. Prison Queens and Airforce Falcons are two of them, with the third placed side.
What the regional play-off decides
The competition is backed by NICO and is run as regional play-offs that feed the national finals in Lilongwe. NICO backs it as a route for young players towards the national team.
Stella Banda is chairperson of the Eastern Region Netball Committee. Prison Queens also won this regional title in 2025, beating Airforce Falcons at Cobbe Barracks.
