Harambee Stars striker Ryan Ogam has completed a move to Belgian side RFC Liege, adding another Kenyan name to the European game.
The forward, who is 20, arrived from Austrian club Wolfsberger AC and will play in the Belgian second tier, according to reports. Liege are said to hold a purchase option on the deal, a sign they see lasting value in a player who first broke through at Tusker FC in the FKF Premier League. It is a notable step for a striker who has climbed quickly through the ranks.
Ogam is part of a wider trend of Kenyan players testing themselves abroad. His progress will be watched closely by Harambee Stars coaches, who want more of their attackers playing regular football at a higher level. Steady game time in Belgium could sharpen him ahead of national team duty later in the season.
Back home, the transfer window has been active. Gor Mahia and Kenya Police continue to reshape their squads, while clubs across the FKF Premier League chase fresh faces before the new campaign begins. Ogam’s move gives young Kenyan players another clear example of a path that runs from the local league to Europe.
Fans at home will hope the move sticks. Too often promising Kenyan attackers have moved abroad only to stall on the bench, and regular minutes matter more than the size of the club. If Ogam plays, his stock rises for both club and country.

Reports around the transfer remain the main source for the finer details, and terms have not been confirmed in full. For now, Kenyan supporters have another player to follow across a European season.
